We have worked with a specialist health and safety company in order to mitigate the risk associated with the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure that a strict protocol for our audiences and staff is adhered to at all times.
Our customers feeling safe and enjoying the magic of the movies at our drive-in cinemas is of utmost importance to us. That is why we are operating as much as we possibly can to be contactless. We are continually monitoring the government guidelines in place.
To help us help you, please ensure all passengers in your vehicle are following government COVID-19 guidance.
Due to the continual changes in guidance we advise all our customers to follow the latest government guidance for the location you are attending.
We kindly ask that customers remain in their cars once they are parked up, unless of course you need to use our toilet facilities. We ask that you wear face masks when leaving your car to go to the toilet and in the interest of everyone’s safety, we also recommend that you use the hand sanitiser stations before and after using the facilities.
In order to ensure our customers’ safety, our speakers are cleaned and sanitised before and after each screening. They will be handed through the driver’s window on entry and you return them the same way when you leave.
There will be individual toilet facilities at each venue, with a minimum 2 metre gap between each toilet. These will be regularly cleaned and sanitised throughout the event. Each toilet will have its own hand sanitising station, so you will be able to sanitise your hands before and after use. We kindly ask that you adhere to the 2 metre social distancing rules in place and wear a mask at all times.
BEFORE I BOOK MY TICKET...
If you have a valid NHS ID Card or a Blue Light ID Card, then you are more than welcome to purchase our 50% discount ticket. This ticket allows general access for one car for as many people as there are seatbelts. It is mandatory that you present your NHS photo ID or Blue Light Card with your booking confirmation to our ticket attendants, upon arrival. Only the person purchasing the ticket needs to provide their NHS ID or Blue Light ID.
Our ticket prices are charged per car. You are welcome to bring as many people as you have seatbelts in the car. Please be aware that the best viewing position will be from the front seats of your car and no refund will be issued for partial viewing of the screen, if you are seated in the back.
If you would like to book a parking space, you may purchase a VIP ticket, which guarantees you a space in our dedicated VIP area of the cinema for 2 or 4 people in one car, dependent on which ticket is purchased. All parking spaces (Standard and VIP) will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
A Standard Access ticket buys you entry to the movie, the rental of a state of the art digital speaker (handed to you on arrival and collected at the exit) and access to all the food and drink we serve, which you can purchase via our F&B app.
A VIP ticket offers all of the above but with a guaranteed parking space in our dedicated VIP area for the best view of our huge 40’ screen (allocated on a first come first served basis). Other VIP delights include: fast track entry & exit, a mystery goodie bag of swag & treats, first come first served dining and individual toilets allocated towards the front of the drive-in for VIP use only.
Please be aware that VIP tickets are not suitable for SUV’s, 4×4’s, MPV’s, vans, people carriers or other large vehicles. All vehicles in these categories will need to be placed to the rear of the venue, to ensure that everyone gets to see the movie.
Everyone is welcome at Strawberry Moon Cinemas. Whatever ticket you choose to buy, once you have bought your ticket, please email us at [email protected] and we will do everything we can to make sure your evening is just as enjoyable as everyone else’s.
We are proud to offer a contactless experience at all our venues and do not have a box office on site. Tickets must be bought online and in advance of each event. Unfortunately, if you do not have a valid ticket, you will not be permitted entry.
Once you have purchased your ticket, you will receive the booking confirmation via the email that you provided. We advise customers to check their junk mail just in case it gets filtered into this folder. Please either print the ticket at home or simply bring your mobile device and show your ticket upon arrival, where it will be scanned. If you have not received your e-ticket, please contact us at [email protected] ahead of the event, so we can assist you.
Of course – this is a family friendly event and we welcome all ages. However, all passengers must be the correct age for the film being screened. For films with age limits, our staff will be checking IDs and strictly enforcing the film certifications. Please make sure you adhere to the age restrictions, as no refund will be given if you are refused entry.
We welcome registered service animals but unfortunately we do not allow pets of any kind into the venues in case they cause disruption to our other customers.
You simply need to bring your ticket (on your mobile device or printed at home) and as we are a contactless venue and unable to accept cash, you will also need a credit or a debit card, if you want to purchase any food, snacks and beverages using our F&B app.
During the winter months it might get cold, so we advise popping in a few warm blankets to keep you feeling cosy. You will not be permitted to run your engine to heat your vehicle.
We will always go ahead, even in bad weather. We are an outdoor event and although we hope we’ll be blessed with good weather, we should all be prepared for some adverse weather conditions every now and then.
An event will only be cancelled if the weather conditions present a danger. In the unlikely event that a screening is cancelled, we will try to give as much advanced warning as possible, so please check your email, our website and social media on the day.
Rest assured that if an event is cancelled by us, everyone that has purchased tickets will receive a full refund.

UPON ARRIVAL AT STRAWBERRY MOON...
Our doors open to the public 45 minutes before the film starts. Please remember that the parking spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so if you arrive late, you will most likely end up towards the back of the venue.
Please note that the latest entry time will be 15 minutes before the film starts.
When you arrive, one of our Attendants will check your ticket and any relevant IDs. You will then be handed a personal speaker for the evening and if you’ve booked a VIP ticket, will also be given your Mystery Goodie Bag.
Our Parking Attendants will guide you to the relevant parking space for your ticket type and height of your car to ensure all our customers have a good view of the screen. Please ensure you follow their instructions carefully for everyone’s safety. If you are in a taller car such as an SUV, 4×4 or MPV van, you will be parked behind cars that are lower in height, such as saloons and estates. This rule applies, even if you’ve purchased VIP tickets.
Once you have been allocated a parking space, to help keep our surrounding environment happy, we ask that you please turn off your engine and all lights and keep off for the duration of the event.
Please note you will not be able to move your vehicle until the end of the event.
As long as you have a valid ticket, you can come in whatever car you like as long as it is under our height restriction of 6ft 6.
Please be aware, if you are in a taller car such as an SUV, 4×4 or MPV van, you will be parked behind cars that are lower in height, such as saloons and estates. This rule applies even if you’ve purchased VIP tickets (don’t worry, you will still receive your Mystery Goodie Bag).
No mini-buses, vans, pick-ups or other large vehicles will be allowed on site.
Car parking spaces are allocated upon arrival on a first come, first served basis. If you all arrive at the same time and your friends/family are in the same size vehicle as you, we will do our best to keep you close to each other.
All cars will be parked facing forwards in order for all movement around the venue to remain smooth, controlled and for everyone’s safety. Therefore we do not allow people to watch the movie from the boot of their car at this present time.
Yes, there is disabled toilet access. If you contact us beforehand, we will make sure you are placed as close to these facilities as possible. For more information, please contact us at [email protected]
You will get a personal digital cinema quality speaker to put into your car upon arrival. These are wirelessly set up and ready to go, there’s no need to tune them in and you don’t need to have your radio on draining your battery!
There will be a mobile number on the leaflet provided. If you require help that is non urgent, please WhatsApp this number. If you have an emergency, please call this number. In either case, give your location using the aisle and row number provided and one of our members of staff will head over to assist you as soon as possible.
Please do not beep, toot your horn, or turn on your lights to raise attention.
This couldn’t be easier. When you arrive at the venue, you will be given a leaflet. There you will find a QR code, which will take you straight to our F&B app. This will give you access to our full selection of delicious food, freshly prepared on site, snacks and hot and cold drinks. Once you’re settled into a parking space, we will hang a sign on your wing-mirror with your own personal aisle and row number. Make sure to quote this on your order. Everything will be available to purchase up to 30 minutes before the end of the film.
Due to the latest Government guidance, we are not able to serve alcohol at this time. However, non-alcoholic beverages and hot. drinks are available to order via our F&B app.
When the Government guideline allow it, our bar will be open. Please understand we will control the consumption of alcohol at our venues and our staff have the right to refuse to serve you. Please drink responsibly and always ensure you have a designated driver.
Once your order is ready, one of our friendly Cinema Attendants will bring it to your car. They will place the food on the bonnet of your car or hand it to you through the driver’s side window. Whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
We kindly ask that you do not bring any food or drink into the event. We have a wide selection of drinks available and our talented, local independent traders are ready and waiting to prepare fresh and delicious food, to add to your drive-in movie experience. LEAVING STRAWBERRY MOON CINEMAS...
As soon as the movie finishes, you will be guided by our Parking Attendants to leave row by row, from the front to the back. Please follow their instructions carefully to ensure that everyone gets to leave as safely and as smoothly as possible. We thank you for your patience.
Just as we handed the speaker to you upon arrival, we will collect it from you at the same place on your departure. You will be guided to the checkpoint before you exit our venue and we just ask that you hand it to our staff member through your window.
In accordance with government COVID-19 guidelines, we kindly ask that you take all your rubbish with you and dispose of it at home. Thank you.
